Short answer

A duo raid works best when one player owns the raid path and one player owns safety. Without role clarity, duos waste time, miss counters, and lose loot during the breach.

RolePrimary jobBackup job
Boom leadPlace boom and call next target.Track remaining sulfur.
SecurityWatch counters and flank angles.Carry seal materials.
Loot runnerMove high-value loot early.Call stop condition.
BothKnow exit and bank route.Avoid tunnel vision.

Checklist

  • Agree who places boom before leaving base.
  • Keep one player watching during every breach.
  • Move loot in waves, not only at the end.
  • Have a shared stop condition.

Example

If the boom lead is breaking a garage door, the second player should not stare at the door. They should hold the flank and prepare seal materials.

Common mistakes

  • Both players looting at the same time.
  • No one carrying seal materials.
  • Switching boom types mid-raid without recalculating cost.
